80% Polwarth Wool, 20% Possum - a luxurious woollen spun wool perfect for garments and accessories. Ideal for colourwork and available in a rainbow of gorgeous colours.

Polwarth is a Merino & Lincoln cross-bred sheep characterised by its long, soft, lustrous fibres. Grown & milled here on the South Island of New Zealand.

Brushtail possum fur fibres are hollow, which trap the heat, making them great insulators. This wool uses only the fur plucked from the back of the possum, the more superior fibre.

+ Knit as DK 8ply with 4mm needles

+ Each skein is approximately 50g / 105 meters (114 yards)

+ 22 sts x 30 rows = 10cm x 10cm

Care Instructions: Gentle hand wash in warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not dry clean. So not spin or tumble dry. Dry flat in the shade. Do no bleach or spin/tumble dry. Turn garment inside out before laundering.
